CHARLES E. SMITH

Of 916 Fifth avenue died at 6.20 o'clock this morning at his home. Mr. 
Smith was born Aug. 12, 1877, at East Freedom, a son of Frank and 
Christina (Harker) Smith. Surviving are three children, Harvey of 
Juniata, Mrs. Anna Kennedy of Bellwood and Mrs. Edna Yon of Altoona; 23 
grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two step-children and 10 step-
grandchildren. A retired laborer of the South Altoona molding room of 
the pattern shop. Mr. Smith was a member of the Newry Lutheran church. 
Friends will be received at the Myers funeral home after 7 o'clock 
tomorrow evening.

SMITH - Funeral services for Charles E. Smith of 916 Fifth avenue, will 
be held Sunday at 2.30 p.m., at the Myers funeral home. Interment in 
Union cemetery, Gallitzin. Friends will be received at the Myers 
funeral home after 7 p.m. Friday.
