SMITH Died of a complication of diseases at his home, Eighteenth avenue and Eighth street, Fairview, at 8:30 this morning, aged 72 years. The deceased had been sick for over a year. For over thirty years he was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company as gang foreman in the boiler shop in this city. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Charles, of California, and John, of this city; also by one brother, James, of New York. Mr. Smith was a member of Mountain Lodge, No. 281, Free and Accepted Masons, and Logan lodge, Knights of Pythias. He also belonged to the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief department. Funeral services will be conducted at the house at 3 o'clock, Sunday afternoon, Rev. A. S. Woodle officiating.
