JOHN MILTON SMITH

Died at his home at East Freedom, R.D. No. 1, Saturday night at 11.10 
o'clock. He was a son of William and Jane (Shaw) Smith and was born in 
Freedom township on Sept. 15, 1873, and followed farming all his life 
until retiring. Surviving are three sisters and one brother, Blanche 
Smith of Duncansville, Mrs. E. Shaw, of East Freedom, Mrs. Ralph Bowers 
of McKee and David E. Smith of East Freedom, R.D. Mr. Smith was a 
member of the United Brethren church. Friends will be received at the 
home of his brother, David E. Smith, at East Freedom, R.D. No. 1

SMITH - Funeral services for John Milton Smith will be conducted 
Wednesday morning at 10.30 o'clock in the Smith Corner Mennonite church 
in charge of the pastor, Rev. John Raugh. Interment in the Carson 
Valley cemetery. Friends are being received at the home of David E. 
Smith, East Freedom, R.D. No. 1
