LILA J. SMITH

Of Box 471, Duncansville RD 2, died at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 
1977, in Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, after a brief illness. She was 
born Jan. 11, 1904, in Puzzletown, a daughter of Edward and Clara 
(Smith) Shaw, and married Homer T. Smith, who died June 6, 1958. 
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Horner of Duncansville RD 2; a 
granddaughter, and five brothers and sisters, Mildred, Arvilla and 
Violet of East Freedom, Donald of Duncansville RD 2 and Carl of 
Duncansville. Mrs. Smith was a member of the East Freedom United 
Methodist Church. Friends will be received in the Thompson Funeral 
home, Roaring Spring, from 7 to 9 p.m. today.

SMITH - Services for Mrs. Lila J. Smith of Box 471, Duncansville RD 2, 
will be held in the Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, at 2 p.m. 
Tuesday by Dr. K. Rahamat Khan. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, 
Roaring Spring. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 7 to 
9 p.m. today.
