MRS. M. MAY SMITH

Wife of W. Elmer Smith of 2619 Sixth avenue, died at 8.30 o'clock Monday morning 
at her home after an extended illness resulting from a complication of diseases.  
She was born in Huntingdon county on Oct. 9, 1873, but had resided in Blair 
county for the past thirty years.  Surviving are her husband, six sons and one 
daughter, Alfred E. Smith of Coatesville, Hubert of Lakemont, Ralph of 
Huntingdon, Frank, a member of the United States army, located in Panama, Gerald 
of Llyswen and Mrs. Velma Porta and Edgar Smith, at home.  Her mother, Mrs. 
Sarah Showalter, two brothers, Harry and Jesse Showalter, all of Huntingdon and 
eight grandchildren also survive.  The body has been taken to Huntingdon where 
funeral services will be held in the Fifteenth Street Methodist church at 2.30 
o'clock tomorrow afternoon.  Interment will be made in Riverview cemetery, 
Huntingdon.
