Mrs. Julian Smith died at her home in Claysburg, at 11 o'clock on Wednesday, 
January 13, of paralysis.  Mrs. Smith had been ill for the past several 
months.  She was born at Sarah Furnace, near Claysburg, in 1844.  She was the 
widow of A. C. Smith.  She is mourned by many friends and by the following 
chilren:  Mont H. of East Freedom, George H. of Altoona, Mrs. Harry Dibert and 
Mrs. Harry Dively of Claysburg, and also one brother and one sister:  Elias 
Snowberger of Altoona, and Mrs. Mary Logue of Manns Choice.  The funeral 
services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the Lutheran church of 
which she was a member for many years.
