B. FRANKLIN SNARE

  Of Sinking Valley RD 1, died in the Tyrone Hospital at 10:35 p.m. 
yesterday.  He was born at McConnellstown July 12, 1887, a son of 
Calvin and Rebecca (Robinson) Snare, and married Marie Robinson at East 
Freedom in 1915.  Surviving are his wife and six children, Mrs. Cynthia 
Isenberg of Williamsburg, Frank Jr. of East Freedom, Mrs. Dorothy Parks 
of Tyrone, Arthur and Murray of Sinking Valley and Jack at home.  Mr. 
Snare was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was a retired 
farmer.  Friends will be received in the Books Funeral Home from 2 to 7 
and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Benjamin Franklin Snares' parents were Calvin L. Snare and Rebecca Ann 
(Buckwalter) Snare.  His wife was Marie Lytle Robinson.  The above 
obituary, as it appeared in the paper, incorrectly identified his 
mothers' maiden name as Robinson, which was in fact his wife's maiden 
name.
