Snouffer, former resident of Bellwood, died on Tuesday morning, of heart trouble. He was born December 12, 1851, a son of Jonathan and Sarah Snouffer. Surviving are s wife and the following children: Ira, Earl and Clair Snouffer, Mrs. Lorrain Mitchell and Mrs. Clarence Hershey, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. John Shoenfelt, of Mansfield, Ohio; Mrs. R. L. Hostler, Mrs. L. E. Root and Mrs. David Reigh, of Bellwood; Mrs. J. E. Bailey, of Tyrone. Three sisters survive: Mrs. Carrie Hack, of Mexico, Pa.; Mrs. Nancy Gross, of Millerstown; Miss Josephine Snouffer, of Juniata county. The body will be brought to the home of Mrs. Root, 713 North Second street, Bellwood. Strictly private funeral servIce will be held at the Root home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. It will be for Master Masons only and all such are invited - in charge of Logan lodge No. 490, Free and Accepted Masons, of Altoona, to which lodge he belonged. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
