ABAGAIL SNYDER DIES; HAD BEEN ILL 8 MONTHS

Mrs. Abagail Snyder, 610 West Sixteenth street, died at her home at 9
o'clock last night, following an illness of eight months.

She was born Nov. 25, 1873 in Tyrone, daughter of Walter and Laura
Smith Denning.  On Jan. 4, 1898, in Tyrone, she married George Snyder,
who is deceased.

Surviving are these, children:  Miss Helen E. Snyder, West Chester;
Ulysses E. Snyder, Ypsilanti, Mich., Mrs. Edward B. Stokes,
Philadelphia; Mrs. Alpha Person, Lawnside, N.J.; seven grandchildren;
also three sisters: Mrs. Florence Crampton, Tyrone; Mrs. Daisy
Crampton, Bellwood, and Mrs. Maude Herley, Oakland, Cal.  She was a
member of the Capitol Street Presbyterian church, Harrisburg and was
for many years president of the Matrons Club of Tyrone.

Funeral service will be held at the home on Wednesday afternoon at 2
o'clock, in charge of the Rev. M. S. Parrish.  Burial will be in
Eastlawn cemetery.  Friends will be received at the home after 7 p.m.
Tuesday.
