ANNA WEST SNYDER Of 3007 Broad avenue, died at her home at 12:20 o'clock this morning of a heart ailment. She was born at Pennsylvania Furnace, Blair county, on Oct. 25, 1859, a daughter of Alexander and Keziah (Green) Stewart. Her husband, Millard F. Snyder, died a number of years ago. Surviving are one son and three daughters, J. M. Snyder, of the city, Mrs. J. F. Knubel, of Philadelphia, Mrs. A. B. Metzler of the city and Mrs. C. A. Erb of Detroit, Mich., and six grandchildren. She was the last member of her immediate family. Mrs. Snyder resided in Altoona practically all of her life and was a member of the Sunday school class from which the Eighth Avenue Methodist church grew. She was a member of the Eighth Avenue church. The body may be viewed at the Lafferty funeral home where funeral services will be held at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon with Rev. J. F. Anderson, pastor emeritus of the Eighth Avenue church, officiating. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Mirror, September 28, 1934
