Snyder Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Snyder died at 6:45 o'clock Wednesday evening, May 30, 1945, at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. John Bonsell, 1412 Blair avenue, Tyrone, following an illness of six weeks. She had submitted to a major operation six weeks ago. Mrs. Snyder was born February 1, 1909 at Spruce Creek, the daughter of John and Carrie (Moffit) Bonsell. On March 20, 1928, at Tyrone, she was united in marriage with Clair Leroy Snyder. She is survived by her husband, Corporal Clair Leroy Snyder, now serving in the South Pacific; also five brothers and four sisters: Charles Bonsell, Fuoss Mills; Albert, Clair and Paul Bonsell, Tyrone; Robert Bonsell, Chambersburg; Mrs. C. L. Cox, Mrs. Helen Kennedy, Mrs. Mary McCalvey, and Miss Ruth Bonsell, all of Tyrone. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the First United Brethren church of Tyrone and of Mrs. David Dickson's Sunday school class. She had been employed at the Reliance Manufacturing Company until her last illness. Funeral services will be held at the home of her parents on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Paul F. Mickey. Interment in Eastlawn cemetery, Tyrone. Friends will be received at the parental home. Daily News, Huntingdon, Pa., June 1, 1945
