At half past 6 o'clock yesterday evening, Mrs. Hattie Meek Snyder, wife of --master W. C. Snyder, of the Altoona division, died at her home, 2425 Beale avenue, from a complication of diseases. The deceased was a daughter of --- and Eliza G. Meek and was born at State College, Centre county, November 4?, 1867, and was consequently aged -- years, 8 months and 23 days. Her sufferings were borne with the fortitude of a Christian and the death summons found her ready to put away the robes of mortality for those of immortality. Her husband survives her as also does one son, Clark M., aged 15 months. Her parents are also living as are these brothers and sisters: J. E. and S. G., of New York, G. M., of Altoona; Mrs. J. T. Harter, of State College; Mrs. Frank Muller, and Mrs. F. Houseman, of this city. The deceased was a member of the Eighth Avenue Methodist Episcopal church, as well as an earnest teacher in the Sunday school. Her absence will be missed by all who came in connection with her, not only in church work, but as a neighbor and friend. The funeral will take place on Saturday afternoon. Ht hour and place of services will be announced later. The interment, however, will be made in Fairview cemetery. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday, July 28, 1899 LOCAL BREVITIES. The funeral of the late Mrs. W. C. Snyder will take place this afternoon. Services will be held at the late home of the deceased, 2425 Beale avenue, at 3 o'clock. To these the friends are invited.
