NORA SNYDER, FORMER TYRONE RESIDENT, DIES Mrs. Nora Jane Snyder, former Tyrone resident, died at the summer home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Kline, Island Heights, N.J., yesterday afternoon at 4:20 o'clock following an illness of eight years from complications. She was born April 7, 1876, at Mapleton Depot, the daughter of Robert A. and Mary Ann McNeal. In 1891, at Bellefonte, she married Theodore F. Snyder, who died in 1927. Surviving are these daughters and sons: Mrs. W. R. Kline, Philadelphia and Island Height, N.J; Mrs. Ira C. Barrow, Smyrna Beach, Fla.; Mrs. A. B. Shroyer, Baltimore, Md.; Merle, F. B., and Carl Snyder, Tyrone RD 3, and Russell T. Snyder, Tyrone; also two sisters: Mrs. R. M. Hamilton, Tyrone and Mrs. Edith Weller, Pine Grove Mills. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal church. Mrs. Snyder spent her early life in Bellefonte. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Grahm and Getz funeral home, in charge, of the Rev. Joseph T. Heistand. Burial will be in the Bald Eagle cemetery.
