RUTH SNYDER

86, formerly of Altoona, died at 3 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 1980, in Hillview 
Convalescent Center. She was born Oct. 20, 1894, in Altoona, the daughter of 
James and Margaret (Curry) Snyder. Surviving are two brothers, Thomas of Altoona 
and Fred of Lavonia, Mich., and a niece and nephew. Miss Snyder was a member of 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 
p.m. today in Stevens Mortuary.

SNYDER - The funeral of Ruth Snyder, formerly of Altoona, will be held with a 
mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. 
Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 
p.m. today in Stevens Mortuary, 1421 8th Ave., where a wake service will be held 
at 3:30 p.m. and a rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. today.
