At noon yesterday Samuel Fisher Snyder died at his home on Logan avenue from heart trouble. Deceased was an employe of F. D. Beyer & Co., at their planing mill on Lincoln avenue and Fifteenth street and worked as usual on Monday. Complaining of not feeling well, he stated about 11 o'clock yesterday morning that he believed he would lie down. He was found by Mrs. Snyder cold in death at the noon hour. Samuel Fisher Snyder was born at Bald Eagle, on July 5, 1844, and was a son of the late David and Mary Snyder. He was united in marriage with Miss Agnes McCormick at Centre Hall, on November 19, 1874. Practically all his life had been spent in this region, he having for many years lived at Bald Eagle, and later at Tyrone. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian church; was a charter member of the Good Will council No. 42, Junior Order United American Mechanics and Spring lodge, No. 127, Knights of Pythias. He leaves his wife, two sons and daughter - James, of Pittsburg; David W., of Altoona; Miss Belle, at home. He leaves also one brother, David, of the Seventh ward.
