Clarence "Yoc" Snyder, a former resident of 417 West 16th st., and for the past 19 months, a guest at the Rosemont Retirement Village, Rosemont, Montgomery County, died Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. at Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia, following a brief illness. He was born Nov. 11, 1898, at Tyrone, the son of William D. and Leone Snyder and was married by the Rev. Herbert Beiber on June 21, 1922, at Bala Cynwyd, to Margaret J. Fulton, who died July 1, 1970. He is survived by four sons and daughters, William B. Snyder, Tucson, Ariz.; Miss Jayne Snyder, Narberth, Mrs. Frances Lovingood, Dalton, Ga.; John M. Snyder, Stuart, Fla., and nine grandchildren. He was a member and a Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church and of the Brisbin Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Odd Fellows, and had retired in 1963 from the Pennsylvania Railroad Company as a clerk at the Juniata Scales after 44 years service. Funeral service will be conducted Friday at l p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Frederick O. Dickerson officiating. Interment will be made in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Getz and Searer Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
