SOCIE

  Mrs. Mary E. Socie died yesterday morning at 9 o'clock at her home on 
Beaver street, Gaysport, death being caused by pneumonia after a brief 
illness.  She was the wife of Charles Socie and was the daughter of J. 
M. and Mary Smouse of Henrietta and was born there Nov. 10, 1894.  
Besides the parents and her husband, two children, John and Raymond 
survive.  The body will be taken Saturday morning at 9 o'clock to Page 
station, near Henrietta, where interment will be made in the Mt. 
Pleasant Reformed cemetery.
