  Miss Julia Sodders died at her home at Tyrone Forges at 11 o'clock 
Thursday night, from old age. She had been ill six months, and a week 
ago suffered a paralytic stroke which hastened the end. The deceased 
was aged 71 years and _ months, and was long and consistently a member 
of the Methodist communion. She had been in the service of the Mathias 
and Stewart families at the Tyrone Forges mansion for over forty years, 
as cook, only leaving the home that had sheltered her so long, a couple 
of years ago, to pass her last days with her own relatives. The funeral 
services will be conducted by Rev. D. F. Kapp at the late home of the 
deceased at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Interment at Birmingham.
