SOLLENBERGER Well known retired farmer died at his home in Williamsburg Sunday afternoon at 12:10 o'clock, death being attributed to complications following a nine-day illness. He was the son of John and Catharine Sollenberger, born near New Enterprise, Feb. 24, 1856, and was married Oct. 3, 1878 to Miss Lydia Kensinger. They celebrated their golden wedding two years ago. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Williamsburg. Surviving are his wife, two daughters and eight sons: Mrs. Flora Cogan of Clearville; Ephriam, Herman, John and Levi Sollenberg, near Martinsburg; Mrs. Jesse Park, Harry, Andrew, Emory and D. Raymond Sollenberg, Williamsburg; forty-four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one brother, Andrew Sollenberger, Williamsburg; one sister, Mrs. Rose Showalter, Shellytown. The funeral cortege will leave the home at 10 a. m. Wednesday for the Williamsburg Church of the Brethren where service will be conducted by Rev. Levi K. Zeigler assisted by Rev. W. H. Holsinger.
