About 9.30 o'clock last night Mr. Leonard Soller was stricken with apoplexy at his home, 151 Washington avenue. Dr. C. C. Miller was summoned and responded as quickly as possible, but before he arrived Mr. Soller had passed away. Overcome by the sudden illness of her husband and his death shortly afterward his wife died of nervous affection within ten minutes after her life companion had been called. The vital spark had passed from both bodies before the physician arrive on the scene. Mr. Soller was born October 20, 1828, and was therefore aged 72 years, 1 month and 10 days. He had for many years been an employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad company. Anna Mary Soller, his wife, was born in December, 1827. They leave a family of children, several of whom are married. One son, George, is employed by the company as a fireman. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. Altoona Tribune, Saturday, December 1, 1900
