All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ GEORGE TOD SPANG Word was received in this city by Miss Flora Richardson of 1106 Sixth avenue of the death of her brother-in-law, George Tod Spang in Los Angeles, Calif., on Oct. 3. Interment was made at Los Angeles. Mr. Spang was born at Roaring Spring, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Job Spang, pioneer residents of that community, seventy-six years ago. Prior to going to the Pacific coast twenty-four years ago, he resided in Altoona, where he was united in marriage with Apollonia Richardson, who died fourteen years ago. Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Coppersmith and Orville Spang, residing in California, and William Spang of Pittsburgh, and three brothers and two sisters.
