She was born in Roaring Spring May 30, 1875, a daughter of Charles Lewis and Sara (Hanley) Berkhimer. She was married to William Spencer, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James Kustaborder of Bellwood; a grandson, Charles Raymond Kustaborder in the army, and four sisters, Mrs. Adaline Dodson of East Freedom, Mrs. Frank Adams of Roaring Spring, R.D., Mrs. Mae R. Nosker and Mrs. Pearl Deters of Roaring Spring. Mrs. Spencer was a member of the Pentecostal church of Tyrone and the Ladies' auxiliary to the Friendship Fire company. Friends will be received at the Hite Brothers funeral home, Roaring Spring, after 7 o'clock this evening.
