Death of a Child.

 Gertrude Florence Sprow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Sprow, who 
live at the foundry, east of town, died Saturday evening at 9.45 
o'clock from gastro enteritis, aged 9 months and 24 days. Funeral 
services were held at the home Tuesday at 1 o'clock conducted by 
Captain A. J. Reese of the Salvation Army, after which the body was 
taken on No. 32 train to Birmingham and at 3 o'clock was interred in 
Birmingham cemetery.
