Miss Mary Stalker
At 9:25 o’clock Friday evening, Miss Mary Stalker, one of the most highly 
esteemed residents of Williamsburg, died after a short illness of senile 
pneumonia.  Deceased was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Stalker, and was 
aged 75 years.  She was born at Spruce Creek valley.  Her mother lived to be 
109 years of age.   She was a most earnest worker in the First Presbyterian 
church, of which she had been a member for years.  One sister, Miss Martha, who 
is now 79 years old, survives.  H. L. Orr, of Tyrone, is a nephew, and Mrs. 
Mattie Fleck, of Altoona, is a niece.  Funeral services were held Monday 
morning at her late home in Williamsburg, and at 1:35 the body was brought to 
Tyrone to the home of H. L. Orr, from where interment occurred Tuesday morning 
at Graysville cemetery.
