His health for a considerable time had been quite delicate. Mr. Stanley whilst residing at his former home, occasionally corresponded for this paper, and since his residence in Tyrone, we have published several letters from him, one of which was published last week, which he stated is a private note to us, was written whilst confined to his bed. Mr. Stanley also corresponded at times for different papers, and with a little care, and better health, would have made an excellent correspondent, and good writer. Peace to his manes. The Register, Hollidaysburg, Pa., Wednesday, November 2, 1870
