LOLA C. STARK 

  Lola C. Stark, 96, of Bald Eagle died Friday, January 5, 2007 at 8:10 
p.m. at Epworth Manor, Tyrone.
  She was born August 29, 1910 in Tyrone, a daughter of David and 
Jennie (Bigelow) Reese. On December 26, 1952 in Bald Eagle she married 
Woodrow W. Stark.
  Surviving are her husband, a step-son William Stark and wife Shirley 
of Port Matilda, two grandchildren, Raelyn and Bethany Stark of Bald 
Eagle, daughter-in-law Dawn Stark of Bald Eagle, three step-
grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and a sister Betty Wiser of 
Bald Eagle. She was preceded in death by a son David R. Stark, a 
grandson Brian David, a brother Luther and three sisters, Janice, 
Gertrude and Rhoda.
  Mrs. Stark retired in 1973 from the Bald Eagle Area Elementary School 
District as a fifth grade teacher. She was previously employed by the 
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Public Instruction, 
Harrisburg.
  She was a member of the Bald Eagle United Methodist Church and the 
Methodist Women's Society. She was a graduate of Port Matilda High 
School and Elizabethtown College in 1950. She also attended Penn State 
and Secretarial School in Williamsport.
  Funeral services were held today at 1 p.m. at Feller Memorial Home 
with Pastor Michele Somerville officiating. Interment followed at Port 
Matilda Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the Bald 
Eagle United Methodist Church or to the Salvation Army, 200 Seventh 
Ave., Altoona, Pa. 16601.
