LEWIS STEEL DIES IN ALTOONA HOSPITAL

  Lewis Steel, formerly of 811 Cambria street, more recently of the 
Fitzgerald Nursing home, Altoona, died in the Altoona hospital 
Thursday, March 25, at 2:20 p.m.  He was born in Bellwood December 31, 
1915, the son of H. Lynn and Bessie Cornmesser Steel, both deceased.  
He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Agnes Picone, Port Washington, N.Y.   
  Mr. Steel was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  Friends 
will be received at the Fuoss mortuary after 7:30 o'clock this evening.  
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a. m., with requiem high 
mass, the Rev. Edward F. McConnell, celebrant, in St. Joseph's Catholic 
church.  Burial in Logan Valley cemetery.
