She was born March 25, 1919 in Altoona to the late Antonio and Annetta (Palazzo) Iaia. She was married on Nov. 10, 1941 to Michael J. Steinbugl at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. He died on July 4, 1969. She retired from the Altoona Shoe Factory in 1978. Mrs. Steinbugl enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons: Joseph A. Steinbugl and wife, Marjorie of Tyrone and Albert Steinbugl and fiancee, Launa Lauer of Altoona; daughter Annetta and husband, Donald McClellan with whom she resided; six grandchildren: Wendy Ross, Toni Parker, Joe Steinbugl, Jr., Raymond Woodring III, Amy Steinbugl and Albert Steinbugl II; six great- grandchildren; and a brother, Leo Iaia of Altoona. She was preceded in death by brothers: Vincenzo, Albert, Joseph, John, Benjamin, James and a sister, Lepore. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral mass will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Committal at Calvary Cemetery.
