MRS. MARY C. STENGLE

Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Agnes McIntosh, 113 Broad 
street, Hollidaysburg, at 6.50 o'clock yesterday morning.  She was born 
at New Florence, Indiana county, on May 28, 1855, a daughter of Joseph 
and Mary Johns.  She was married to John Stengle, Sept. 25, 1872, and 
he preceded her in death ten years ago.  Surviving are five daughters 
and one son, Mrs. Ellen Kinzel, Butler; Mrs. William Erb, Freeport; 
Mrs. Agnes McIntosh, Mrs. Emory Pollock, McVeytown; Frank, Grandville; 
and Mrs. William Yingling, Duncansville; fifty-eight grandchildren, and 
thirty-eight great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Stengle was a member of St. 
Mary's Catholic church.  Friends will be received at the home after 
noon Saturday.

STENGLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary C. Stengle of 113 Broad 
street, Hollidaysburg, will be conducted Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock 
in St. Mary's new cemetery.  Friends will be received at the home after 
noon Saturday.
