MRS. NELLIE STEPHENS

Wife of John B. Stephens of 2612 Eighth avenue, died at 11.20 o'clock 
last night at Mercy hospital after a long illness. She was born in the 
city on May 13, 1872, a daughter of William and Sarah (Shaw) Cassidy, 
and was twice married, her first husband having been Charles Malloy, 
who died thirty-three years ago. Surviving are her second husband, 
three sons, Joseph Malloy of Indianapolis, Ind., Albert C. Malloy and 
William Stephens, both of the city; four grandchildren and three 
brothers, Charles H., P. Shunk and W. Blair Cassidy, all of the city. 
Mrs. Stephens was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church. The body 
may be viewed at the home.

STEPHENS - The funeral of Mrs. Nellie Stephens of 2612 8th Ave. will be 
held Wednesday morning with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church. Interment will be made in St. John's cemetery. The 
body may be viewed at the home.
