Stevens, a young man of 424 Fourth avenue, died of typhoid fever at the Altoona hospital yesterday morning at 4 o'clock. He was born in this city on November 28, 1891, and was a son of William deceased, and Mrs. Annie Stevens Guyer of 424 Fourth avenue. He was employed for a time in the Pennsylvania railroad blacksmith shop at Fourth street and at the time of his illness was in the service of the Flanagan Coal company as a teamster. He was a member of the Third United Brethren church. Besides his mother he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Blanche Haines, of Swissvale; Samuel, Joseph, Mervin, Elma, Robert and Edwin Stevens, at home. Funeral services will be conducted at the home tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock by the Rev. W. S. Wilson. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
