JOSEPH E. STEVENS 

45, of Box 219B, RD 3, died at 8 a.m. today, April 25, 1980, in Altoona 
Hospital, following a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 11, 1934, in Altoona, 
the son of Joseph R. and Mary C. (Gates) Stevens. Surviving are four brothers 
and sisters, John C., James L. and Mrs. Lillie McConnell of Altoona and Mrs. 
Beverly J. Biddle of Blaisdell, N.Y. Mr. Stevens attended the Independent Bible 
Church. Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Mauk & 
Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.

STEVENS - Services for Joseph E. Stevens of Box 219B, RD 3, will be held at 2 
p.m. Saturday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. Keith 
R. Bitner Interment in Blair Memorial Park. Bellwood. Friends will be received 
from noon until time of services Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of 
flowers, donations may be made to the Independent Bible Church Missionary Fund.
