Harry Stewart, one of the class who have no home, after walking over the mountain above the tunnel this morning, stepped on the track on this side of it to walk to this place. As he did so an engine emerged from the tunnel and struck him before he noticed it, producing a fracture of his right leg and internal injuries which will likely prove fatal. He is also badly bruised and cut about the back and face. The unfortunate man was brought to this city on day express and taken to the hospital where he is doing as well as can be expected.
