Brother of Mal Stewart, the restaurant man of this city, died suddenly at his home in Maweagua, Ill., yesterday morning, aged 54 years. He is survived by his wife and three children. Also by his wife and three children. [sic] Also by two brothers, A. M., as above, and Col. F. B., of Washington, and four sisters: Mrs. Milliard F. Snyder of Altoona, Miss Maggie of Washington, and the Misses Mary [and] Rachel of this city. The deceased was born in this county and lived here prior to the war, in which he served three years and six months. The funeral will take place on Wednesday. Altoona Mirror, February 4, 1895
