All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Mrs. Laura Tolen Stewart Mrs. Laura Tolen Stewart died Friday morning, March 26, 1954, at 1:25 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Agnes Delozier, 1004 Woodland Avenue, Tyrone, following an extended illness. She was born September 24, 1868, at Pennsylvania Furnace, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Floyd) Love. She was twice married, first to Peter A. Tolen who died in 1908, and secondly to D. W. Stewart, who died in 1915. Surviving are four daughters to the first marriage: Mrs. S. E. McMasters, Philadelphia; Mrs. Agnes Delozier, Tyrone; Mrs. Charles Ross, Claysburg; Mrs. D. W. Riley, Juniata; a son, Paul died in September, 1929; also eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. George Zeunges, Johnstown. She was a member of the Birmingham Presbyterian church. Funeral service will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Graham and Getz funeral home, Tyrone in charge of the Reverend Eugene McCahan, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Port Royal. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Tyrone, Pa. Friends are being received at the funeral home. The Daily News, Huntingdon, Pa., March 27, 1954, page 5
