MARIE J. STEWART

Of 1010 2nd Ave., Juniata, died at 6 p.m. Sunday in the Altoona 
Hospital, where she had been admitted earlier in the day. She was born 
Dec. 23, 1889, in Meringo, Huntingdon County, a daughter of Blair and 
Anna Waite, and married Harrison M. Stewart, who died June 26, 1961. 
Surviving are four children, Joseph P., at home, Robert E. of Fairless 
Hills, Mrs. Evelyn Ehrenfeld and Richard H. Stewart, both of Altoona; 
six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a brother, Clark of 
Juniata. Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Gethsemane United Methodist 
Church of Juniata. Friends will be received in the Saleme Funeral Home, 
Juniata, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
