Stewart, 82, of Fairless Hills, formerly of Altoona, died Friday, Dec. 23, 1994, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, N.J. known as Boots, he was born in Altoona and was a resident of Fairless Hills since the 1950s. He married Virginia R. Stewart, who preceded him in death. Mr. Stewart retired from the national tube division of U.S.X. Fairless Works in 1975. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Stewart was a member of the VFW, Juniata. Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Tedeschi of Tinton Falls, N.J., and Ginny Johnson of Levittown; eight grandchildren; and several nieces. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Levittown. STEWART - Services for Robert E. Stewart of Fairless Hills, formerly of Altoona, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 625 W. Ridge Pt., Bldg.
