Stewart, died at her home, 1213 Fourteenth street, at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon, of paralysis, from which she has been a sufferer for the past eight years, although she had only been considered dangerously ill for the past week. Deceased was born in Bedford county sixty-nine years ago and has resided in Altoona for the past sixteen years. She was a faithful member of the First Methodist church, of this city, and was a noble Christian lady. Besides her husband, she is survived by six children: J. W., of Tyrone; Misses Marie, Juniata and James B., of Altoona; W. D., of Patton, and Mrs. E. P. Harum, of Kingston, Pa. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, at her late residence. Services will be conducted by Rev. Horace Lincoln Jacobs and will be public.
