91, of 1901 9th Ave., died at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 1980, in his home. Mr. 
Stewart retired as a machinist from the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1957, after 
49 years' service. He was born Sept. 12, 1888, in Altoona, the son of William 
B. and Priscilla (Kerlin) Stewart, and married Anna M. Rice, who died in 1967. 
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mary Moore of Altoona, and a niece. Mr. Stewart 
was a life member of the Eagles. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 
9 p.m. Wednesday in Stevens Mortuary.

STEWART - Services for Roy E. Stewart of 1901 9th Ave. will be held at the 
convenience of the family in the Memorial Chapel of Stevens Mortuary, 1421 8th 
Ave., by the Rev. John H. Witmer. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will 
be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Stevens Mortuary. Mr. 
Stewart is survived by a niece, Mrs. Elva Boese of Altoona.
