All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ SALLIE DYSART STEWART DIED SUNDAY IN NEW YORK Miss Sallie Dysart Stewart, died at her boarding home, 103 Madison avenue, New York City, on Saturday evening of a heart attack. Deceased, who was well known in Tipton and in this community, was a graduate of the Albany, New York Normal school. She had been in the public kindergarten school work in New York City for fifteen or twenty years and the past five years had been doing kindergarten work at Blackwell Hospital. Miss Stewart is survived by two sisters and one brother, namely: Mrs. George Sergeant, Pittsburgh; Mrs. R. G. Thomas, of South Carolina; and Sewell H. Stewart, Johnstown. The body was brought to the home of her uncle, Edward Dysart at Tipton, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. H. F. King, pastor of Grace Baptist church, Tyrone. Interment will be made in the Dysart family graveyard at Tipton. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., September 15, 1924
