He was born in the city, a son of George W. and Sarah Elizabeth Stiffler, and was married to Miss Margaret M. Rahm. Surviving are his wife, two sons and one daughter, John A., Virginia E. and Raymond M. Stiffler, all at home; three brothers and one sister, Charles W. and Chester A. Stiffler of the city; Frederick L. of Cross Keys, and Mrs. Ethel Forsht of Hollidaysburg. Mr. Stiffler was a member of the Fifty-eighth Street Methodist church, the Men's Bible class of the church and lodge NO. 372, Jr. O.U.A.M. The body may be viewed at the home. Funeral services will be held in the Fifty-eighth Street Methodist church on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Carson Valley cemetery.
