MRS. ELIZABETH E. STIFFLER
 
Widow of Merle Stiffler and long a resident of near Foot of Ten, died 
at 4.50 o'clock this morning in Mercy hospital where she was admitted 
last Sunday.  She was born in Juniata township on Sept. 5, 1878, a 
daughter of Ephriam and Susan (Feathers) Wilt.  Her husband died in 
1936.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Rose Wilt, of 827 Fourth 
avenue, where she had resided for the past several weeks, and Susie L. 
Wilt of near Foot of Ten, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, 
and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Smith of Duncansville R.D. 2, and Mrs. 
Charles Karshner of Mill run.  Friends will be received at the 
Liebegott funeral home after noon tomorrow.
