MRS. LUCINDA STIFFLER.

  Mrs. Lucinda Stiffler, wife of Henry Stiffler, of Freedom township, died at 
her home at 2 o'clock yesterday morning of a complication of diseases, aged 
71 years.  Surviving are her husband and four sons, Samuel, of Johnstown; 
Harry, of Cross Keys, and James and John, of Freedom township.  Mrs. Stiffler 
was one of a family of twelve girls and four boys, all living except two 
sisters.  She also leaves twenty-five grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.  Deceased was a member of the Lutheran church.  Funeral 
services will be conducted in the East Freedom Lutheran church at 10 o'clock 
Wednesday morning by the pastor, Rev. F. H. Schraeder.  Interment in 
Riverview cemetery, at Leamersville.
