MRS. MARY EMMA STIFFLER

Widow of C. R. Stiffler, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Sadie 
Nagle of 1309 Twelfth avenue, this morning at 12.30 o'clock of 
complications.  She was the daughter of Joseph and Nancy Bennett and 
was born at Gap, Lancaster county, on Aug. 23, 1853.  Her husband 
preceded her to the grave fourteen years ago.  She is survived by one 
son and one daughter, Ralph R. Stiffler, sr., of Altoona and Mrs. John 
Holton of Lakemont Terrace, together with fifteen grandchildren, one 
great grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Pheasant and Mrs. Sadie 
Nagle, both of this city.  She was a member of the Christian Missionary 
Alliance church.  The remains will be taken to the Roher & Mauk funeral 
home in Juniata to be prepared for burial and will be removed to the 
Holton home, 303 Campbell avenue, Lakemont Terrace, this afternoon.  
Brief services will be held on Friday evening at 8 o'clock and on 
Saturday the body will be taken to Coalport where further services will 
be held in the Christian Missionary Alliance church at 10 o'clock with 
interment to follow in Snyder cemetery.
