On last Wednesday afternoon P. K. Stifler attended the funeral of his 
brother, John K. Stiffler, of Newry, he now being the last one left of 
a family of twelve.  We are sorry to state that he now is also lying in 
a critical condition at his home in Beryl.

  At 6.30 o'clock Sunday evening Mr. P. K. Stifler died at his home in 
Beryl, death being caused by the rupture of a blood vessel in the head.  
The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock to-morrow afternoon, interment 
in Carson Valley cemetery.  The services will be held in the Dunkard 
church.
