STIFFLER Mrs. Stiffler, 86, of 411 Walnut St., Hollidaysburg, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 1983, in Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg, after an extended illness. She was born Oct. 10, 1896, in Bellwood, the daughter of George W. and Frances (Neafhoof) Reid, and June 15, 1918, in Butler married Logan E. Stiffler. Surviving are her husband, five children: Earl L. of Miami, Fla.; Gretna M. Freidenbloom of Hollidaysburg, Ruth E. Osgood of Olean, N.Y.; Joyce Emerich of Lancaster and Ernest of Fairfax, Va.; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Stiffler was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hollidaysburg. She was also a member of MOMS of America. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. STIFFLER - Services for Verna E. Stiffler of 411 Walnut St., Hollidaysburg, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, by the Rev. Charles Conley. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery.
