Stine of 121 Lexington avenue, died on Saturday morning at 6.20 o'clock, of a complication of diseases, after a long illness. He was born in Center county, June 9, 1881, a son of George and Mary Stine, and came to Altoona last June, entering the railroad company's employ in the machine shops at Twelfth street. He was married April 19, 1906, to Manetta McClain, of Pittsburgh and is survived by his wife, one son, Guyer, by his parents, who reside in Center county, by three brothers, Walter and Raymond, of Center county and Guyer of Altoona, and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Mattern and Mrs. Ruth Crust, of Center county. He was a member of the Fourth Lutheran church, of the Odd Fellows, the Knights of Pythias and the Railroad Relief association. Funeral services were conducted at the home yesterday afternoon. The body will be taken to the parental home in Center county today and the interment will be made tomorrow. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, April 15, 1918
