NORA MAY STITT 
  
  Mrs. Nora May Stitt, 436 Washington ave., died Saturday at 11:45 p.m. 
at the Philipsburg State Hospital after an extended illness.  
  She was born Oct. 20, 1892, at Philipsburg, the daughter of John G. 
and Sarah A. Myers Frantz.  She was married Sept. 3, 1919, at 
Philipsburg, to George W. Stitt.  She had been a resident of Tyrone 33 
years.  
  She is survived by her husband, a son, John J., Sr., of Birmingham; 
six grandchildren.  She was a member of the Church of Christ, 
Philipsburg.  
  Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson funeral 
home, with the Rev. H. B. Burkett officiating.  Burial will be at Bald 
Eagle Cemetery.  Friends are being received at the funeral home.
