All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ ANDREW STOLTZ Andrew Stoltz, a veteran Pennsylvania railroad employe, died at 9 o'clock yesterday morning, at his home, Pine avenue and Thirty-fourth street, of a complication of diseases. He was born in Cambria county, sixty-eight years ago and had resided in this city for many years. He was married twice, being survived by the following children to his first wife: Mrs. Adam Harvey, of Altoona; Mrs. Howard Evans, of Pittsburg; Mrs. Jesse Kroll, of Mehaffey; William Stoltz, of Coristadt, N.M., and Mrs. J. F. Freed, of this city. He is also survived by his second wife and the following children: Herbert J., Earl A., Edna, Eugene and Raymond, all at home. The following brothers and sisters survive: Martin, of this city; Frank and Jacob, of Ashville, Cambria county; Mrs. Albert Ray, of Chest Springs; Mrs. Joseph Holtz, of Ashville, Mrs. L. J. Thomas, of Windber, and Mrs. D. G. Borst, of Los Angeles, Cal. Mr. Stoltz was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic church and of the Pennsy relief association. He was a machinist by trade, and was retired on March 1, 1916, after thirty years service with the Pennsylvania company. The funeral arrangements had not been completed last evening. The body of Andrew Stoltz, who died Thursday at his home, Pine avenue and Thirty-fourth street, was removed yesterday to the N. A. Stevens mortuary, where the remains may be viewed in rest room No. 3, any time before the funeral, which will be held with requiem mass at Sacred Heart Catholic church, at 10 o'clock Monday morning, followed by interment in St. John's cemetery.
