DANIEL STONE [sic]

Notice has come to this city of the death of Samuel Stone, a retired
shopman, and formerly of this city.  Mr. Stone died at the home of his
son, Hunter H. Stone, of Swissvale, last evening at 6:30 o'clock,
death being caused by pneumonia.  Mr. Stone was on a visit to this
city but two weeks ago and at that time was in perfect health, his
sudden death being a tremendous shock to his many friends here.

FUNERAL SERVICES

The funeral services for the late Samuel Stone, who died at Swissvale,
Pa., Monday evening of pneumonia will be held at the Eighth Avenue
Methodist church at 9 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with interment in Oak
Ridge cemetery.
